NextGen Solar,

Bringing affordable solar arrays to Oregon. Don't be left in the dark!

Welcome to NextGen Solar, where we provide affordable solar with quality, warrantied products. We will soon offer the IQ8 Ensemble, it's meant to optimize energy generation and thus save money during normal times, as well as giving the ability for off-grid generation during power emergencies with the Encharge battery. Its Enpower switch automatically isolates the home during blackouts, allowing power to flow from storage. And the IQ Combiner enables connection to the cloud for troubleshooting, while the Enlighten cloud software provides for real-time monitoring of generation, energy usage, connection to the grid, and battery usage. Say goodbye to your electric bill, as well as those high delivery and surplus charges. Our solar arrays offer a Enphase Enlighten monitoring system to help you keep track of your energy production, consumption and monitor and or troubleshoot your array. By integrating solar, storage, and the power grid into a user-friendly system, it gives the homeowner the choice of how to source, store, or sell back energy. We want to make solar affordable to everyone and help Oregon go green.

Oregon solar incentives and rebates put solar power within reach

Net metering in Oregon

Thanks to Oregon’s net metering policies, you’ll receive full credit on your utility electric bills for the extra electricity that your solar panels generate. When you make more power than you use, you can “bank” it with your utility and draw from it later when you need extra electricity to cover your usage.

Oregon loves the federal solar tax credit (ITC)

The value of solar incentives in Oregon is even greater when taking into account the recent extension of the federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC) for solar. In addition to the state-specific incentives mentioned above, you can cut the cost of your solar panel system by 26 percent. Remember, however, that the ITC applies only to those who buy their solar energy system outright with a cash purchase or a solar loan, and that you must have enough income for the tax credit to have an economic impact.
